FAQ
1- What is “Chromobiotics”?
It is the use of a natural hue/shade of colors to balance/harmonize an individual’s
inner eco-system. This is called an “empowerment shade”. It is completely
different for every individual. It can be utilized for therapeutic (e.g.: trauma cleansing;
anxieties/panic attacks; phobias) or non-therapeutic purposes (e.g.: peak performance).
Dr. Morris usually employs it in conjunction with other Integrative Medicine techniques
(e.g.: hypnosis; homeopathy)
2 - How do you categorize your approach to healing?
It is frequency or vibration healing; sometimes referred to as “energy psychology”.
It is the employment of spirit-mind-body strategies designed to achieve a harmony/balance
between the spiritual, mental/emotional, and physiological, and physiological/biochemical
aspects of being. The goal is to effectuate a positive state of being.
3 - What is integrative medicine?
It is the incorporation of Western conventional diagnostic/treatment techniques and
traditional Eastern healing methodologies. The emphasis is upon prevention and the
application of as many natural approaches and remedies so as to avoid toxicity and
/or side effects. It also utilizes Ego-state techniques, both conscious and hypnotic,
to achieve these aims.
4 - Does insurance reimburse for your services?
YES. As Dr. Morris is licensed in several states, he participates /is a member of a
plethora of managed health care and/or private/union insurance entities such as Aetna,
MHN, GHI, Oxford, POMCO, Value Option, Health Net, United Behavioral Health, etc.
Thurs, services are covered according to each plan’s stipulation.
5 - What is the difference between Integrative Medicine and Holistic
or “Alternative
Medicine”?
As descried above, Integrative Medicine is a combination of techniques from the East
and West, which are recognized and supported by empirical evidence. Alternative med.
Seems to be pejorative term for this used by the uninformed practitioners of the western
conventional establishment. It implies erroneously that any methodologies outside of
the conventional ones are second-class. Holistic tends to include in its armamentarium
natural techniques that appear unsupported by scientific research/documentation but
do seem to have merit and successes. It does NOT recognize the importance or value
of western pharmacological approaches in general.
6 - What is "Ego-State therapy"?
It is based upon the work of Helen and Jack Watkins that posits that there are “parts” within
each of us who have deposits of our lives. These stated house these life experiences,
the good, the ad, and the ugly which give them character and form. In effect, Dr. Morris
is performing family therapy within an individual. Dr. Morris contends that Ego-State
exists in its own special color hue and he has developed techniques both consciously
and/or hypnotically to access these.
7 - What is “Chromonosis”?
As stated above , it is the combination of clinical hypnosis with the colored light
hues determined on the Morriscope in order to analyze, discern, and organize the
material that springs forth from this process in order to balance/harmonize one’s
Ego-
States.
8 - Are your treatments confined to your office?
NO. Dr. Morris makes home, hospital, and/or emergency visits. This
mobility is designed to restore the “old Doc Brown” feature to healing
and is employed in circumstances such as suicides, overdoses, disabilities, and/or
marital/family crises. As you can view elsewhere, Dr. Morris has attended most of our
recent tragic disasters such as the Oklahoma bombings; Columbine High School; 9/11
NYC; Katrina, etc.
9 - What is the B.A.T.?
It stands for Biotic-Autonomic Training. It is a “power therapy” technique
that merges the work of several gifted doctors (see elsewhere) which can address a
host of mental health and/or performance issues. Its main goal is to “deflate” individuals/families/groups
from the toxicities and /or fears in their lives.
It is different from EMDR, IMT, or TFT in that it’s completely mobile, free,
self-administered, no machinery necessary, and does NOT RETRAUMATIZE individuals. It
is predicated upon the principles of acupressure, Drs. George Goodheart, T. Morgan,
Jefferey Marrongielle, Paul “the legend” Muscolino, Harold Clark, Mrk McClure,
F. Shapiro, and many others. BAT can be employed for therapeutic purposes (e.g.; anxiety/panic/
phobias; depressive syndromes; SAD; PTSD) as well as for non-therapeutic purposes (e.g.;
peak performance; personal improvement).
10 - What is “deflation"?
This is Dr. Morris’ term for relaxing and/or detoxing people after they have
been inflated or toxified by the bombardment of stressors in their environment. When
stressors (positive or negative) bombard an organism/person the stress response activates.
When this is continual or extensive, a depletion of the body’s stress response
system organs occurs. Imbalances and toxicity result and then drain the entire body
systems in turn akin to a domino effect. In effect, the organism becomes “inflated” or
bloated with negativity from the accumulation of toxins.
The various aforementioned Integrative Medicine and/or clinical psychotherapy techniques
are utilized usually in a multi-modal fashion to accomplish a “deflated” state
of inner harmony/bance and positive spirit-mind-body charge. All such regimes are customized
to the needs of each person.
11 - What is “Trauma Cleansing”?
Whenever a living organism is traumatized shock waves of a negative charge are recorded
at its cellular levels. These shock vibrations are also recorded in particular hes/shaed.
The inner ecosystem is jolted into a negative charge and these cells expel toxins
int the whole system. By utilizing various Integrative Medicines. Remedies and techniques
in a tailor-made fashion, this system can be “cleared or resorted to appositive
charge and inner harmony.
12 - Are there any side effects?
Generally, NO. When patients follow the recommended psychological or Integrative Medicine
regimes, there are usually positive results only. Because these modalities work in
concert with the spirit-mind-body, there is a complimentarity that occurs unlike
pharmaceuticals that impose their chemical will on these systems.
Of course, when self-medication or inconsistency occurs, there can be ill effects
or complication. For, natural remedies such as herbs are medicinal and must be respected
as such. Dr. Morris creates bio-individualized regimes for each individual. Hence,
if he shared these with other without specific evaluation and/or approval, outcomes
can not be predicted and Dr. Morris can not take responsibility for them.
