As an active member of national disaster and trauma relief teams since 1993, Dr. Morris did not hesitate to offer his services to those who needed it most. By noon on Sept. 11, 2001, he was already at work assisting those who were responsible first-hand in the search and rescue efforts. Voluntarily working 12 to 14 hour days, Dr. Morris did not return home until the following Wednesday, Sept 19th. During the months since the tragedy, he has continued to apply his "Chromobiotics" therapy to the disaster victims and their families.

Dr. Morris has a great deal of experience with disaster/trauma relief having been a U.S. Army Covert Operations Officer overseas during the Vietnam War. He also worked the World Trade Center bombing in 1993 and the school shootings in Arkansas, Western Pennsylvania, Oregon (the Hinkley case) and Colorado (Columbine).
